The Historic Alaska Hotel, just 55 paces south of the Mile Zero Post in Dawson Creek, British Columbia combined the" spirit of northern adventure" with "old world charm".

On September 14, 2012 the Alaska stopped to be the oldest run business in Dawson Creek when it went out in a blazing inferno.
